Lindsay Brighton Development

The other day I had the privilege of attending developer Jacmax's launch of its inaugural project, Lindsay Brighton. Such an exciting project and a fabulous launch party I might add!

Brighton is one of Melbourne’s most sought-after suburbs and has long been considered one of its most beautiful, with its tree-lined streets and picture-perfect beach. Boasting both bayside appeal and a ‘village’ atmosphere, it offers the best of inner-city living.

Just 11 kilometres from the city and a stone’s throw away from Church Street’s boutiques and restaurants, Lindsay is ideally situated. Many local institutions such as ‘The Pantry’ and ‘Half Moon’ are accessible by foot, and Middle Brighton Station is mere metres away. Residents also enjoy proximity to the beach and its famous multicoloured bathing boxes as well as local parks.

In collaboration with internationally award winning architects, Fearon Hay, property developer, Jacmax has created a unique, high-end residential development, Lindsay Brighton, in one of Melbourne’s most desirable suburbs.

The first Victorian residential project for the New Zealand based firm misses nothing when it comes to luxury detail. Three-meter high ceilings, seven-meter natural stone kitchen bench tops and full-height libraries with associated timber, bronze bookcases and ladders are just some of the features in this contemporary, contextual development.

This 11 dwelling project will be a light-filled, architectural standout building over three-levels, with a double height ‘internal street’ entry allowing residents and visitors to glimpse through the building to picturesque Black Street United Church. Internally an impressive travertine staircase runs up to the penthouse level.

Externally, extensive private gardens are designed by renowned landscapers, Eckersley Garden Architecture, and residents will enjoy these from large bi-fold doors opening out into from the living areas and all bedrooms.

In the center of each apartment will be a signature pod, allowing for open spaces to connect and flow as well as be separated into dual living rooms, giving homeowners privacy while still creating a sense of openness.

Director of Jacmax, Trent Skurrie says; “We wanted to transform the idea of apartment living through crafting a prestigious residential offering with opulent simplicity, providing a low maintenance, luxury lifestyle.

“There were no limitations when designing the residence. Fearon Hay were given a completely blank sheet,” he said.

Due to commence constructions in mid 2016, the 11 apartments will comprise nine two-, and three-bedroom dwellings as well as two penthouses, priced from $1.6M to $4M. Sizes will range from two-bedroom apartments at 135 sqm to 160 sqm, three-bedroom apartments at 175 sqm to185 sqm, and Penthouses from 294 sqm to 297.

All apartments will have one space allocated per bedroom in a basement car park, as well as sizeable bike storage and cages, with visitor parking available in a separate dedicated outdoor space.

“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today” ~ Robert McKee

Located on one of the beach-side suburbs pre-eminent streets, with prestigious Brighton Grammar at one end and within close proximity to the transformative lifestyle of Brighton Beach and Middle Brighton Station, Lindsay Brighton is perfectly positioned.

The development provides a unique opportunity for prospective buyers to experience world-class partners, transforming apartment living and providing convenient luxury amongst Brighton’s most iconic landmarks.

This is bayside living at its finest! I will take the penthouse thanks!
