Guest Picks For #KreoLovesLocal - Mum Little Loves

This week Kreo welcomes Hayley from Mum Little Loves blog to share her fabulous #KreoLovesLocal finds! Let's take a look at Hayley's style!

Hello to all you gorgeous Kreo Home readers and a big thanks to Maggie for having me!

I grabbed myself a cuppa and a piece of chocolate, ok I confess, it was a block of chocolate, and I scrolled through all the pretty products on the #kreoloveslocal hashtag. I put together my favourite blue and white goodies because… hello… blue and white! I know your going to love them as much as I do!

Top Left - @haruhome

I am currently in love with anything shibori. The indigo hues and organic movement of the pattern draws me in every time. Haru Home create hand dyed homewares ranging from tea towels to placemats and napkins.

Top Right - @maggimcdonald.art.design

Maggi McDonald is an artist and surface designer, she creates abstract work and you can buy prints or originals from her online shop. My favourite is this ‘Another Blue Print’ which is a giclee art print created from photographs of parts of her original works. The colour palette is divine, blue is a calming colour and looks fabulous in most homes.

Bottom Left - @shakiraazhomewares

These cushions are so much fun. The Wave Tie Dye Stripe cushion (on the chair) has a coastal / boho vibe, while the Shibori Band cushions (on the couch) have a more tribal feel, the indigo colour ties them together and they work beautifully together. These are firmly on my wishlist!

Bottom Right - @coastalstudionoosa

Handmade ceramics created by the beach in coastal Noosa. The pops of blue on each of these hand-pinched dishes resembles the craters of the moon, hence the name - Blue Moon.

And Lastly, for my Product of the Week.

Now this was a tough one, we have so much local talent it is near impossible to choose just one.

I couldn’t go past @chelseahopkinsallan_art and just kept scrolling back to her art.

Chelsea creates unique art pieces inspired by her work as an Australian environmental scientist. Her Butterfly Wing range is based on the surface of a butterfly wing as seen under a microscope. They are covered in tiny scales!

She hopes her art will evoke feelings of positivity and joy.

I know I would feel joy hanging one of these beauties in my home, aren’t they stunning?!

Hayley x
